About The Position

As a Prepress Programmer (20 Month Contract), you will be involved with defining, developing, testing, analyzing, and maintaining programs, as well as providing support for operations on any production issues that arise. This is a hybrid role working a minimum of 1 day per week onsite in our Brampton office.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Programming, Software Development or related degree
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and database design
  • Knowledge of .NET Framework, C#, XML/XSLT, and SQL Server
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience with Quadient Inspire Designer is an asset or willingness to learn

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop Direct Marketing and variable data print solutions using Quadient Inspire Designer, Interactive and Scaler
  • Create reusable, efficient and scalable logic using .NET, C#, XML, XSLT and SQL Server
  • Produce print stream files and PDFs for high-volume production environments
  • Participate in testing, quality assurance, troubleshooting and maintenance of print applications
  • Research new technologies and contribute to optimization, automation and design improvements.
