About The Position

ARC Document Solutions is a global leader in digital printing and technology services. Riot Creative Imaging is their specialized visual color graphics division. They are seeking a Digital Pre-Press Operator to work in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be extremely focused and enjoy quick transitions while executing essential job duties related to file setup, corrections, design, proofing, and quality control in a prepress environment.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years Hands-on experience in a large format digital printing environment
• Complete working knowledge and understanding of the Adobe Creative Suite and other design programs
• Solid working knowledge of large format and small format printing, finishing processes and materials
• Understanding of project scope and how it relates to other trades
• Above average math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division of whole numbers and fractions
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently, resourcefully with minimal oversight
• Demonstrated experience in developing strong working relationships with internal and external customers
• Candidate must be organized, professional, and a good communicator
• Efficient, accurate and able to multitask in a fast environment
• Proactive self-starter with a Great Attitude and Work Ethic

Nice To Haves

• Background in Onyx and Caldera RIP’s is a plus

Responsibilities

• Pre-press environment setting up files.
• Making corrections to existing client files
• Designing some print collateral.
• Perform proofing and quality control checks on each job produced
• Process, comprehend, and follow detailed written and verbal instructions
• Maintain a safe, clean and orderly work area
• Ability to report to work as scheduled and as required to support business operations
• Able to work overtime when needed
• Work additional, non-traditional hours (as needed) to complete job tasks and assignments.
• Other duties as assigned
