About The Position

The Prepared Foods Clerk delivers exceptional customer service and prepares food in areas including the deli, juice bar, pizza/sandwich station, and hot bar. The role helps customers find what they need and supports Earth Fare’s mission of helping people live healthy lives by offering food and other products held to high standards.

The clerk maintains an attractive sales floor according to Earth Fare merchandising guidelines and verifies department signage and pricing. The role also maintains the cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of department fixtures, storage areas, workstations, freezers, and coolers. The position is based at Earth Fare Boone in Boone, North Carolina, and may involve working in extreme cold and a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

Requirements

• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Able to bend, reach, stoop, kneel, and squat.
• Able to push, pull, and maneuver heavy loads.
• Able to stand and be on one's feet during the workday.

Nice To Haves

• Previous food preparation or cooking experience in a restaurant, bakery, or catering environment.
