About The Position

Join our dynamic team in the UCSF Division of Geriatrics and lead operations for our innovative online advance care planning program, Prepare for Your Care (PREPARE). As our full-time PREPARE Program Manager of Strategy and Partnerships, you'll play a pivotal role in supporting the Principal Investigator (PI) to sustain and expand our community, clinical, and research initiatives, with a focus on serving diverse socially and medically vulnerable older adults and their caregivers. In this multifaceted role, you'll dive into the heart of program management, helping to develop and track program goals while playing a central role in building the program’s financial sustainability by managing foundation communications and supporting our licensees and research collaborators. Your strong organizational and interpersonal skills will be essential in forging and maintaining relationships with community-based organizations, government agencies, health systems, and industry partners to broaden PREPARE’s reach and impact. You will also oversee consultants and collaborate with team members across a variety of key projects. These initiatives may involve website development, legal review of our easy-to-read advance directives, PREPARE content improvements, marketing efforts, and research innovations. Your responsibilities will range from overseeing project budgets and deliverables to helping write grant applications, drafting newsletters, and collecting and analyzing user feedback. You are an excellent communicator (both verbally and in writing) and can build and sustain collaborative working relationships. You bring a wealth of technical and organizational skills, proficiency in project management tools and software, and experience with social media platforms. You also have a passion for public health and helping people have a voice in their health care. These qualities, coupled with your attention to detail, problem-solving prowess, intellectual curiosity, motivation, and adaptability, will drive our program's success.
