This is a full-time Preparation Cook position within the Food and Nutrition Department at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center, located in Winston Salem, NC. The role focuses on contributing to overall positive patient and customer satisfaction by meeting high service and quality standards. Key responsibilities include maintaining sanitation ratings, monitoring product quality, ensuring recipe compliance, meeting productivity and delivery schedules, and adhering to safety and sanitation rules. The cook will also complete required training, participate in performance improvement initiatives, work collaboratively with team members, minimize waste, control costs, and manage equipment and supplies. In the absence of a Team Leader, the Preparation Cook will assume their role, maintaining the work area and resolving issues with employees and customers.
