The compensation range for this role is $21.00 to $21.52 per hour. Please note that weekend work may be required based on operational needs. This is a full-time position.

Responsibilities

  • Overseeing the Prep department’s efficient and precise processing of ingredients during their assigned shift.
  • Leading, training, and guiding team members to ensure accurate and efficient processing of ingredients.
  • Ensuring processing is performed with minimal waste and delays.
  • Maintaining accurate inventory within the assigned department.
  • Supporting the continuous and effective operation of departmental processing equipment.
  • Ensuring compliance with HACCP, GMP, and Allergen protocols, safeguarding ingredient integrity and preventing foreign material contamination.
  • Performing additional related duties as assigned, aligned with skill level and work conditions.
  • Safely operating manual and/or electric pallet jacks (plant certification required).
  • Safely operating all equipment within the department.
  • Leading and developing team members.
  • Conducting training and performance coaching.
  • Fostering a positive work environment through effective communication, recognition, and support.
  • Communicating with leadership regarding employee concerns and zone efficiency.
  • Taking accountability for departmental KPIs and performance metrics.
  • Accurately and honestly completing all required documentation.
  • Adhering to corporate GMPs, SOPs, and food safety policies.
  • Following allergen control procedures diligently.
  • Reporting suspicious packages, activities, or individuals as necessary.
  • If monitoring Critical Control Points (CCPs), ensuring HACCP training compliance and adherence to approved plans.
