Prep & Extraction Operator

Join our team and be part of an organization that values safety, teamwork, and growth. We are seeking a detail-oriented operator to support our prep and extraction production operations. As a Prep & Extraction Operator, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring the safe, efficient, and effective production of soybean meal, hulls, pellets, and crude oil within required product specifications. This position is on night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM. The schedule is a 2/3/2 that provides every other weekend off. Pay starts at $20.00 per hour, with an additional $2.00 per hour for the night shift premium.
Requirements
- Prioritize safety at all times.
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge of mechanical processes, and aptitude for spatial awareness and quantitative reasoning.
Nice To Haves
- Previous operator experience is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Adhere to safety policies, procedures, and OSHA regulations to uphold a strong safety culture.
- Identify and promptly address workplace hazards.
- Conduct continuous inspections of key process points, make necessary machinery and equipment adjustments, identify problems with equipment, and continually monitor equipment.
- Monitor and adjust operations using computerized and controlled systems to meet department requirements.
- Gather samples of laboratory analysis as scheduled/required and perform and record required control analyses.
- Perform all types of general facility maintenance and housekeeping, including equipment inspections, repairs, adjustments, and monitoring throughout the facility.
- Maintain accurate logs of key production variables such as production volume, yield, plant uptime, and utility consumption on a timely basis
