About The Position

The Extraction Operator is responsible for all aspects of the safe operation of the hexane extraction process. This position requires participation in all production, sanitation, housekeeping, environmental, safety and emergency guidelines in the facility.

Requirements

• Equivalent experience (preferably 2+ years)
• Basic written and verbal communication skills
• Basic computer skills, including a working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Ability to work in a highly quality controlled environment
• Ability to work with computerized control systems
• Ability to maintain a good working relationship with other facility personnel
• Ability to tolerate exposure to hot and cold conditions, according to the season

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Strong mechanical skills

Responsibilities

• Operate all aspects of the hexane extraction process
• Actively participate in all aspects of safety including near-miss reporting
• Complete all applicable documentation
• Perform housekeeping duties
