About The Position

Prep Cooks are part of Chili’s Heart of House team and help set the pace for a great shift by preparing food and keeping kitchen stations stocked and set up. The role involves following recipes and preparation methods, adhering to safety and sanitation procedures, and helping maintain a safe, welcoming environment. The position requires working effectively with Team Members in a fast-paced, high-volume setting.

Requirements

• Friendly, warm, and caring demeanor with Team Members.
• Ability to think and act quickly in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Ability to use slicers, mixers, grinders, food processors, and similar equipment.

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience in a similar food and beverage service and preparation position is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Properly execute all recipe procedures.
• Prepare a variety of foods using different preparation methods.
• Follow company safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
• Complete assigned prep work to stock and set up stations.
