About The Position

Jim N Nick's Bar-B-Q is seeking a Prep Cook for their new restaurant opening in Myrtle Beach, SC. The Prep Cook will coordinate, organize, and prepare scratch-made food items according to recipes, standards, and procedures. This role is crucial for ensuring proper measurements, ingredients, shelf lives, and maintaining high food quality.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Pitmaster, Meat Cutter, Line Cook, Expediter, Prep Cook, or Fry/Salad Chef.
• Passion to serve the guest.
• Committed to teamwork.
• Possess a positive attitude.
• Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.
• Respect the adherence to health, safety and sanitation procedures.
• Ability to clean as you go and stay organized.
• Performs duties that require bending, lifting, reaching and turning.
• Transports items and containers (weighing up to 50 lbs.) to and from stock and kitchen locations.
• Able to stand up to 8 hours or longer if needed.
