About The Position

The Prep Cook prepares food for cooking according to prep lists and manager directions, following recipe cards and production and portion standards to ensure consistent quality. The role also involves cleaning and sanitizing the station at the beginning and end of the shift, which may include light dishwashing, and following sanitation and safety policies to protect the establishment and guests. Other duties may be assigned by management. This position is at a franchised McAlister’s Deli location.

Responsibilities

• Prepare foods for cooking based on prep lists and manager directions.
• Prepare food consistently according to recipe cards and production and portion standards.
• Clean and sanitize the station at the beginning and end of the shift; this may include light dishwashing.
• Follow sanitation and safety policies to protect the establishment and guests.
• Perform other duties as requested by management.
