About The Position

The Prep Cook contributes to the community’s Signature Dining Programs by preparing and assembling chef-inspired menu items, including à la minute cooking, to support resident satisfaction. The role works with a dedicated team in state-of-the-art kitchens using quality equipment. It is a full-time position with a 40-hour schedule.

Requirements

• Must be able to work some weekends and holidays.
• Must be able to lift and/or move objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to work in varying temperatures, including hot kitchens and cold refrigerators and freezers.
• Must be able to work a full-time, 40-hour schedule.

Responsibilities

• Assist in consistently preparing food items according to proper safety and cooking techniques.
• Maintain a clean and sanitized kitchen and work station.
• Prepare and assemble high-quality menu items that drive resident satisfaction.
