About The Position

Prep Cooks are Kitchen Team Members, known at Chili’s as the Heart of House. They help set the pace for a great shift by preparing food, completing assigned prep work, stocking and setting up stations, and supporting a safe and welcoming environment. The role involves working quickly in a fast-paced, high-volume setting and following recipe, safety, and sanitation procedures. Prior experience in a similar food and beverage service and preparation position is preferred.

Requirements

• Friendly, warm, and caring demeanor with Team Members.
• Ability to think and act quickly in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Ability to use slicers, mixers, grinders, food processors, and similar equipment.

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience in a similar food and beverage service and preparation position.

Responsibilities

• Properly execute all recipe procedures.
• Prepare a variety of foods using different preparation methods.
