Requirements

Team player + Positive attitude
Strong customer service skills
Excellent oral communication skills required
Positive interpersonal skills required
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a multicultural and diverse team
Able to acquire a California Food Handlers, Sexual Harassment certifications (before or within 2 weeks of hiring)

Nice To Haves

Bilingual is a plus
Kitchen experience is a plus

Responsibilities

Be a team player, and work together with your team to foster a healthy and warm atmosphere
Assist line cooks and the kitchen manager with a variety of preparation work; cooking ingredients by washing and chopping vegetables, cutting meat etc…
Undertake basic cooking duties such as reducing sauces, parboiling food etc…
Prepare simple dishes such as salads, appetizers etc…
Stores away delivered goods in appropriate location
Maintain a clean and sanitary workstation area
Label and store food according to restaurant standards
Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
Fill in for absent staff as needed
Comply with health and safety codes
