About The Position
Culinary Services Group is hiring a part-time Prep Cook at The Sarah Community in Bridgeton, Missouri. The role prepares food and serves customers in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations. The schedule and hours may vary, multiple shifts are available, and rotating weekends are required. No prior experience is required; training is provided. The fixed pay rate is $18.50 per hour. Uniforms and free parking are provided, and the role offers training and growth opportunities with no late nights.
Requirements

Responsibilities
- Obtain the daily production schedule and preparation requirements from the Chef.
- Prepare items listed on production sheets, following established quantities and recipes.
- Complete and follow daily production worksheets and waste log sheets, and taste completed meals to ensure quality.
- Operate and clean equipment according to department procedures after each use.
- Store, label, and date food items according to policy and follow HACCP guidelines.
- Complete required documentation, reports, and logs.
- Comply with federal, state, and local health and sanitation regulations and department sanitation procedures.
- Take customer orders and prepare items requiring short preparation time.
- Serve customers efficiently and in a friendly manner.
- Complete orders from steam tables and grills and serve customers at multiple stations.
- Use approved recipes and production standards to maintain food quality, serving temperatures, and portion control.
- Resolve customer concerns.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
