About The Position
The Prep Cook prepares ingredients and supports kitchen operations to ensure dishes meet company standards. The role requires attention to detail, efficient work, and helping maintain a clean and organized kitchen. The Prep Cook works with Line Cooks and other kitchen team members and may perform additional duties as assigned. No experience is required; prior prep cook experience is a plus.
Requirements

- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand, walk, reach, and bend for extended periods.
- Take initiative, work well as part of a team, remain open to feedback, communicate thoughtfully, and use good judgment.

Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients according to recipes and company specifications, including chopping, portioning, mixing, and stocking items.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked prep area throughout each shift.
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and kitchen safety procedures.
- Support Line Cooks and other kitchen team members to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
- Label, store, and rotate food items according to company standards.
- Assist with cleaning, dishwashing, and restocking tasks as needed.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
