About The Position
Prep Cooks are part of Chili’s Heart of House team and help set the pace for a great shift by preparing food and supporting kitchen operations. The role involves following recipes, preparing foods using different methods, completing prep work, and stocking and setting up stations. Team members are expected to work quickly in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and contribute to a safe, welcoming kitchen.
Requirements
- Friendly, warm, and caring demeanor with Team Members.
- Ability to think and act quickly in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Ability to use slicers, mixers, grinders, food processors, and similar equipment.
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience in a similar food and beverage service and preparation position.
Responsibilities
- Properly execute all recipe procedures.
- Prepare a variety of foods using different methods of preparation.
- Follow company safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
- Complete assigned prep work to stock and set up stations.
- Contribute to maintaining a safe and welcoming environment.
