About The Position
The PREP COOK is responsible for supporting the kitchen by preparing food prior to the cooking stage for Island View Casino's restaurants by properly measuring, portioning, and preparing a variety of food items on menus as well as basic prep cooking such as baking, frying, sautéing and steaming associated with food prep, etc. Must have a demonstrated ability to operate most commercial kitchen equipment, have knowledge of quality food, food preparation, food preservation, be able to produce food orders in a commercial or professional kitchen.

- Knowledge of quality food, food preparation, and food preservation
- Ability to produce food orders in a commercial or professional kitchen
- Must be 18 years of age
- High School diploma or GED
- At least 1 year of culinary experience
