About The Position

The Prep Cook (Preparador) is essential to our scratch kitchen. You’ll prepare fresh ingredients and keep our coolers stocked so the kitchen can run efficiently and deliver high-quality food to our guests. You’ll work closely with Cocineros (Cooks), Kitchen Leads, and the Manager on Duty to ensure everything is prepped correctly and ready for service.

Responsibilities

  • Accurately prepare all recipes according to Felipe’s standards
  • Follow prep lists and complete tasks in the correct order
  • Measure and portion ingredients correctly
  • Taste food to ensure quality and consistency
  • Set up and stock cold lines with fresh product
  • Assist Cocineros in keeping the line stocked during service
  • Unload, rotate, and organize deliveries
  • Follow all food safety and knife safety procedures
  • Maintain a clean, organized prep kitchen and refrigerators
  • Assist with cleaning, dishwashing, and trash as needed
  • Properly care for kitchen equipment and report issues
