About The Position

Prep Cooks are part of Chili’s Heart of House team and help set the pace for a great shift by preparing food and supporting kitchen operations. They prepare a variety of foods using different methods, complete assigned prep work to stock and set up stations, and follow recipe, safety, and sanitation procedures. The role contributes to a safe and welcoming environment and calls for teamwork and the ability to work quickly in a fast-paced, high-volume setting. Prior experience in a similar food and beverage service and preparation position is preferred.

Requirements

• Friendly, warm, and caring demeanor with Team Members.
• Ability to think and act quickly in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Ability to use slicers, mixers, grinders, food processors, and similar equipment.

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience in a similar food and beverage service and preparation position.
