About The Position
The Line Cook is a Heart of House Team Member responsible for helping set the pace for a great shift by preparing food according to Chili’s recipe procedures and keeping kitchen orders flowing. The role contributes to a clean, safe, and welcoming kitchen environment while communicating with other Team Members in a fast-paced, high-volume setting. Prior experience in a similar food and beverage service and preparation position is preferred.
Requirements
- Friendly, warm, and caring demeanor with Team Members.
- Ability to think and act quickly in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Ability to use slicers, mixers, grinders, food processors, and similar equipment.
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience in a similar food and beverage service and preparation position.
Responsibilities
- Properly learn and execute all recipe procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness throughout the kitchen.
- Follow company safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
- Communicate ticket times to Team Members.
- Keep food orders flowing continuously from the kitchen.
- Contribute to maintaining a safe and welcoming environment.
