About The Position

Assists cooks in the preparation of all items for the Food and Beverage outlets. This role involves preparing and cooking meals according to recipes and portion sizes, assisting in ingredient preparation, following food safety procedures, maintaining a clean work area, and collaborating with kitchen staff for efficient meal service. The position also requires adherence to dietary restrictions and special customer requests.

Requirements

  • Culinary skills: Knowledge of cooking techniques, flavor combinations, and food presentation
  • Proficient in food handling and safety practices
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong knife skills for food preparation
  • Familiarity with the food industry and its standards
  • Willingness to learn and take direction from senior kitchen staff
  • Ability to work well as part of a team

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a dietary department or similar food service environment
  • Previous experience as a cook or in food preparation is preferred, but not required
