About The Position

Responsible for performing a variety of cooking duties, including but not limited to receiving ticket orders, routing tickets by order type for fast service, and promptly cooking, arranging, and presenting orders according to prescribed procedures. Accurate preparation of all types of egg orders, omelets, steaks, chops, sea foods, burgers, sandwiches, and appetizers. Maintains a well-stocked and clean kitchen at all times, while following proper sanitary, safety, and food handling techniques. Other duties as assigned by supervisors and management.

Requirements

Experience making prep lists
Valid Oregon Food Handler's Card required within 30 days of employment
Minimum of three years extensive demonstrated experience and proficiency in a high volume, 24-hour a day kitchen operation
Strong knowledge of various types of machinery, such as Hobart mixers, steamers, choppers, meat slicers, and convection ovens, deep fryer, grills, broilers, and steam tables
Overall knowledge of kitchen sanitation, safety procedures and food handling required

Nice To Haves

High School Diploma or GED strongly preferred
Culinary school or Certificate preferred
Culinary knowledge, including line cooking, soups, sauces, meats, salad preparation, and knife handling skills, preferred
