Prep Cook/Dishwasher
About The Position
Kemuri Tatsu-Ya is currently seeking a dishwasher who also provides prep work. The ideal candidate must be able to move quickly and work efficiently with great attention to detail. This role involves maintaining a positive attitude, excelling in a team environment, communicating effectively, and following directions and procedures to meet quality standards. Responsibilities include reading and executing recipes, performing tasks repeatedly, utilizing basic cooking techniques, and operating basic kitchen equipment. An understanding of the restaurant industry is preferred but considered necessary.
Requirements
- Must be 18+ years of age
- Must successfully complete state required certification and obtain food handlers credentials
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Stand on feet for long periods of time
- Must communicate effectively
- Must be able to follow directions and procedures
- Must have or obtain Food Handlers certification
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must excel in a team environment
