About The Position
Full-Time Pre Op Registered Nurse (RN) Are you a compassionate and skilled RN looking for a flexible opportunity in a dynamic, patient-centered environment? Join our exceptional team at Prince William Ambulatory Surgery Center, a leading multispecialty surgery center in Manassas, VA.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing
- Active RN license in the state
- BLS and ACLS Required, PALS if required by the center
- Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment
- Able to prioritize and organize workload to meet the needs of patients and the unit
- Strong communication skills, verbal and written
Nice To Haves
- 2 years of experience in PACU or Critical Care preferred
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to delivering patient-focused care.
Responsibilities
- Conduct preoperative assessments, including reviewing patient medical histories, medication and current health status.
- Educate patients and families about the surgical process, ensuring they are informed and at ease.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to maintain a seamless and efficient workflow.
- Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols.
