About The Position

The Premium Runner is responsible for delivering food and beverage items from the kitchen to guests in suites or seats. The role requires knowledge of menu offerings and timely delivery while following food safety, sanitation, and responsible alcohol service guidelines. The runner also supports event-area setup and breakdown, product inventory and restocking, and the maintenance of preparation and service areas and equipment. This position involves customer and coworker interaction to support guest satisfaction and company service standards in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Requirements

• Be punctual, reliable, and available for scheduled shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays on an event basis.
• Adapt quickly to fast-paced, high-volume environments.
• Have the physical stamina and agility to remain mobile for long periods and stand for the duration of the shift.
• Be able to obtain and maintain required work cards, including an SNHD Health Card, ServSafe Alcohol Card, and Non-Gaming Card.
• Effectively communicate in English, both in written and oral form.
• Be able to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and bend.
• Be able to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Ensure food and beverage items are properly delivered and/or stored.
• Pick up food from the kitchen and deliver it to guests in suites or seats, and to restaurant or dining-room patrons.
• Know all menu offerings.
• Follow setup and breakdown processes efficiently and complete event setup and breakdown within established timelines.
• Follow sanitation and safety principles when handling food and equipment.
• Interact with customers to help ensure satisfaction and with coworkers to support compliance with service standards.
• Complete assigned side work and other assigned duties.
• Perform post-event product inventory and restock as needed.
• Understand event paperwork and reports.
• Meet or exceed guest expectations and follow location appearance guidelines.
• Act with urgency and professionalism.
• Maintain preparation and service areas and understand the importance of maintaining equipment.
• Follow responsible alcohol service policies.
• Help fellow employees when necessary.
