This position is for the 2026-2027 Prekindergarten program. The role involves planning and implementing a program of study that meets the individual needs, interests, diverse backgrounds, and abilities of students. The teacher will assist in establishing curriculum objectives, create a conducive learning environment, and guide the learning process towards curriculum goals. This includes employing appropriate instructional methods, assessing student accomplishments, diagnosing learning strengths and weaknesses, and collaborating with colleagues, students, and parents. The teacher will also support administration in implementing policies, plan assignments for support personnel, utilize technology, maintain accurate records, and perform Medicaid administrative claims reimbursable activities. Adherence to the Code of Ethics and school/District policies is required, along with supporting school improvement initiatives and recognizing/reporting student distress or abuse. Establishing an appropriate testing environment and test security is also a responsibility.
