About The Position
Early Years Child Development Centers is hiring a PreK Lead Teacher for its Allison Park location. The listed pay is $19.25 per hour with a related degree or $18.00 per hour without a degree. A sign-on bonus of $1,000 is offered with a degree or $500 without a degree. Requirements
- High school diploma.
- At least 18 years old.
- 2,500 verifiable hours working with children, such as babysitting, nannying, or childcare, or a related associate’s or bachelor’s degree.
- A related degree in Psychology, Social Work, Early Education, or Special Education is listed as preferred and is also identified as an alternative to the experience requirement.
- Valid FBI, Child Abuse, and Pennsylvania State Police clearances, or ability to obtain them before starting.
- Ability to obtain a health assessment and TB test; a physical with a recent TB test is required.

- Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Early Education, Special Education, or a related field.
