About The Position

As a Preformulation Modeling Co-op, you will work alongside experienced scientists in Haleon's Product Chemistry organization to help predict and understand how ingredients and formulations behave during product development. You will support experiments, analyze data, and apply modeling approaches to identify potential formulation challenges before products reach consumers. The role combines science, engineering, and data-driven problem solving, with exposure to consumer healthcare product development. You will partner with scientists specializing in spectroscopy, chromatography, calorimetry, and product chemistry to support innovation and improve product performance. This is a six-month co-op beginning in January 2027. The position is based in Richmond and requires an in-office presence of 4–5 days per week. Candidates must be able to work full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, approximately 8 a.m.–5 p.m. Candidates are responsible for arranging and funding their own housing, transportation, and relocation needs if relocation is required. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States and must not require future sponsorship.
