About The Position

Are you fascinated by how machinery works? Do you want to catch mechanical issues before they cause major plant breakdowns? At I-care, we are looking for a motivated, safety-conscious Predictive Maintenance (PDM) Technician to join our Operations team. This is an incredible entry-level opportunity for someone with strong mechanical curiosity to get hands-on training in the fast-growing field of industrial condition monitoring. Your primary mission? Walking the plant floor, keeping your eyes on the equipment, and collecting vital vibration data.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• A fundamental understanding of how rotating machinery works (pumps, motors, gearboxes, blowers).
• Comfortable using computers, Windows, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
• Great communication skills, an analytical mind, and the ability to work independently and responsibly.
• This is a physically active, industrial field role. To thrive here, you should be comfortable with moving around, climbing, balancing and lifting.
• You will be working outdoors and indoors in all kinds of conditions, using proper equipment and safety gear.

Nice To Haves

• A technical or engineering degree is a major plus!
• If you already have or are working toward your ISO Category 1 (Vibration), that's a plus.

Responsibilities

• Walk established plant routes to collect vibration and condition monitoring data using industry-leading tools and tech.
• Keep our machinery health databases accurate and up to date with the field data you capture.
• Perform visual inspections of critical equipment (motors, pumps, gearboxes) to spot visible damage, installation issues, or leaks.
• Report your daily visual findings and data insights directly to senior team members and clients.
• Follow I-care, client, and OSHA safety standards.
