About The Position

Predictive Maintenance Analyst will be the frontline expert in identifying mechanical issues within industrial installations. This is an on-site position focused on our Des Moines operations, where your role will involve utilizing state-of-the-art technologies to detect faults before they lead to costly downtime.

Requirements

  • Vibration Analysis Certification: ISO Category II (CAT 2) minimum is required.
  • Education: High School Diploma, Related Field Experience or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electromechanics, Mechatronics.
  • Experience: Proven experience in vibration data collection and analysis.
  • Physical Agility: Ability to climb ladders/scaffolding, work in confined spaces, and stand for extended periods. You must be comfortable with the physical demands of a plant environment.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in diagnostic software and hardware.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written English skills; ability to translate complex data into clear reports for clients.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in Oil Analysis, Ultrasound, or Infrared Thermography.
  • Knowledge of In-situ Balancing.

Responsibilities

  • Perform vibration measurements and inspections on rotating equipment, including turbines, pumps, fans, motors, and gearboxes.
  • Execute advanced vibration data analysis and diagnostic techniques to identify and resolve complex mechanical health issues and equipment irregularities
  • Deploy complementary diagnostic technologies including thermography, ultrasound, and oil analysis.
  • Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and provide actionable technical recommendations to clients.
