About The Position

About the Role Picture your day beginning at a bustling factory floor or a customer site, toolkit in hand. You review the job scope, pull the right adapters and indicators, and mount the instrument onto a calibration fixture. With controls set for current, timing, pressure, temperature, or vacuum, you bring the equipment to life, watching meters and gauges as you verify performance. If something is off, you methodically adjust the calibration mechanisms using precision tools, lock in the settings with sealing compound, and document the results. When devices can’t be recovered, you flag them for rework or parts salvage and keep production moving. Between jobs, you prepare calibration certificates and data reports, complete service documentation, and update databases so information is accurate and traceable. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional partners to untangle tricky issues, help craft or refine calibration procedures, and contribute to new product capability standards. When root causes lurk deeper, you may carefully disassemble instruments, diagnose defects, and brief your supervisor on findings. Throughout, you model our Service/Quality Initiative—measuring results, improving processes, completing core quality coursework, living our Core Values, and following all company and customer safety practices.
