About The Position

Rock of Ages currently has an opening for a Machine Operator – Stone Manufacturing to join our operations on the 2nd shift at our Graniteville, VT facility. Our teams work with high-quality granite to create custom stone products ranging from memorial pieces to precision industrial components for clients across North America and beyond. We are hiring for an Industrial Products Precision Machine Operator, offering opportunities to learn and grow within precision stone fabrication, assembly, and finishing.

Requirements

• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Ability to work in a team-oriented production environment
• Attention to detail and pride in quality work
• Comfort with hands-on, physical tasks
• Experience in machining, precision manufacturing, or related fields
• Familiarity with dimensional measurements and tolerances

Responsibilities

• Fabricating and assembling custom granite products
• Operating equipment such as cranes and various hand tools
• Performing detailed inspections to ensure product quality
• Assisting with large-scale stone projects and assemblies
• Operating Precision Grinders and Saws
• Following all safety standards, procedures, and production guidelines
• Supporting team operations
