About The Position

High Steel Service Center is seeking a Multi-Cut Blanking Line Machine Operator for 2nd shift in Lancaster, PA. As a leading processor and distributor of carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum, High Steel Service Center delivers precision-cut products and reliable solutions. This role is crucial in maintaining the quality and reliability that customers depend on. The position offers a starting pay of at least $21/hr, plus a $3/hr shift differential for 2nd shift. The standard work schedule is four 10-hour days, Monday through Thursday, from 3:00 pm to 1:30 am. Flexibility is required for initial training on 1st shift for 3-6 months. Overtime may be necessary on Fridays and occasional Saturdays.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Strong mechanical ability required.
• Excellent math, measurement, and recordkeeping skills required.
• Ability to operate material handling equipment (overhead crane, side loader & forklift) required.
• Computer literacy needed to keep accurate inventory records and for light data entry.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of coil processing preferred.
