About The Position

We are seeking a skilled Precision Fabrication Welder to join our team in Butner, NC. This role requires the ability to read complex blueprints, visualize weld sequences, and proficiently use both TIG (GTAW) and MIG (GMAW) welding techniques on various materials including carbon steel, aluminum, and stainless steel. Safety, cleanliness, and weld integrity are paramount, and the ideal candidate enjoys collaborating with teammates to solve fabrication challenges and deliver high-quality results.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Track record as a TIG and MIG welder.
Fluency in reading blueprints and technical documentation.
Strong detail orientation and pride in workmanship.
Problem-solver who thrives both solo and on a crew.
Working knowledge of fabrication safety standards and regulations.
Willingness to work flexible hours with occasional overtime.

Nice To Haves

Welding trade school or certifications preferred.
Portfolio of completed work is a plus.

Responsibilities

Execute TIG and MIG welds on carbon steel, aluminum, and stainless steel with consistent, high-quality results.
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specs to plan and perform work.
Set up torches and welding machines; verify parameters and maintain a safe work environment.
Inspect and test welds for quality and structural integrity; fine-tune technique as required.
Partner with teammates to troubleshoot fabrication challenges and implement solutions.
Keep your station clean, organized, and compliant with safety protocols.
Engage in training to sharpen skills and adopt best practices.
