About The Position

WorkForce Software, an ADP company, is hiring a Pre-Sales Technical Application Consultant. This role is embedded within the sales organization and requires direct client interaction. The Pre-Sales Solution Engineer will create product demonstrations of WorkForce Software (WFS) time and attendance and scheduling products to meet prospective client requirements. This role involves teamwork with the Solution Consulting team, participating in discovery calls, requirements interpretation, and preparing detailed demonstration scripts. The consultant will use their deep knowledge of Human Capital Management to design and code complex solutions for enterprise clients. The ideal candidate possesses strong communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills, can manage multiple projects with deadlines, and is a self-starter with a passion for research. Requirements

  • Self-starter with a passion for research and problem-solving.
  • Ability to learn WorkForce Software product configurations and formula language.
  • Knowledge of databases and SQL.
  • Ability to work well as a team member and be motivated individually.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects with strict deadlines and tight turnarounds.
  • Ability to suggest best practices within the scope of our products’ capabilities.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to travel up to 10% with the potential for international travel.
  • Associates located near an ADP or WorkForce office are expected to follow the ADP hybrid work model.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in the Human Capital Management space.
  • Familiarity with JavaScript or another object-oriented programming language.
  • Experience with complex software configuration.
  • A college degree is great but not required.
  • Military experience where skills including teamwork, adaptability, organization, and follow-through will help build team and client relationships, identify solutions, and achieve success.

Responsibilities

  • Create complex product demonstrations for prospective enterprise clients worldwide, turning complex requirements into creative solutions.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor, partner, and ADP ambassador to internal partners and the network, demonstrating grace under pressure and high ethical standards.
  • Attend calls or demos with clients or prospective customers to answer advanced questions about products and configurations.
