About The Position

ModMed is seeking a Solutions Engineer, Financial to leverage their deep industry expertise to help healthcare practices achieve better financial outcomes and smoother workflows. As a Solutions Engineer, you will focus on bringing value to life through insightful conversations and memorable product demonstrations. Your primary mission is to ensure our solutions provide a functional fit for a client’s unique challenges. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree is highly preferred; relevant industry experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Minimum of 3+ years of healthcare practice management experience (e.g., Practice Administrator, Biller, or Revenue Cycle Manager) or experience in pre-sales demonstrating Practice Management or RCM solutions.
  • Solid working knowledge of Practice Management (PM) systems and revenue cycle management workflows.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present confidently to diverse audiences.
  • Experience conducting remote presentations using tools such as Google Meet or similar screen-sharing technology.
  • Travel: Ability and willingness to domestically travel 50% of the time to engage with clients on-site.
  • Proven ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Advanced experience with ModMed Practice Management or competing PM systems is a significant plus.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the sales team to provide financial and functional expertise to prospective clients evaluating our Practice Management solutions.
  • Conduct in-depth financial discovery sessions and workflow analyses to understand unique practice objectives and pain points.
  • Compose and deliver superior product demonstrations that articulate value, differentiate ModMed from competitors, and leave a lasting positive impression on stakeholders—from Billers to Physicians.
  • Perform onsite financial workflow analysis and presentations based on best-practice observations.
  • Maintain a growth mindset by proactively learning about new product enhancements and collaborating with Senior SEs to build your subject matter expertise.
  • Assist in completing RFI/RFP and security questionnaires to support the closure of new business opportunities.
  • Ensure a smooth transition from sales to post-sale by providing accurate knowledge transfer to our Professional Services team.
