About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Pre-Litigation Case Manager to join our dynamic personal injury law firm. In this role, you will manage a caseload of approximately 100 personal injury cases, ensuring each client receives exceptional care and attention. You will be responsible for maintaining regular communication with clients, collaborating with attorneys on case strategy, drafting demand letters, and monitoring medical treatment progress. This is a crucial role that requires strong organizational skills, a client-centered approach, and a deep understanding of personal injury law.

Requirements

• 2+ years of pre-litigation case management experience in personal injury law.
• Experience drafting persuasive demand letters that tell a client's story and support strong settlement outcomes.
• Strong understanding of motor vehicle collision claims and related injuries.
• Exceptional communication skills — written and verbal — with a compassionate, client-centered approach.
• Excellent organizational, multi-tasking, and time management abilities.
• High level of discretion when handling sensitive and confidential information.
• Proficiency in Filevine or similar case management systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Professional demeanor, positive attitude, and team-oriented mindset.

Nice To Haves

• Experience supervising or mentoring team members.
• A college degree or paralegal certification.
• Fluency in Spanish (bilingual)

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of approximately 100 personal injury cases with care and precision.
• Maintain regular communication with clients — every two weeks — to provide updates, answer questions, and ensure they feel supported.
• Collaborate with attorneys in weekly case reviews to strategize and move cases forward.
• Draft compelling demand letters that clearly communicate liability, medical treatment, damages, and each client's personal story.
• Monitor clients' medical treatment progress and ensure compliance with prescribed care.
• Request, review, and summarize medical and billing records throughout the treatment phase.
• Identify and address liability or treatment gaps early in the case.
• Keep all case data accurate and up to date in Filevine case management software.
• Follow established firm policies and procedures through case resolution.
• Assist with other case management duties as needed.
