About The Position

Sakonnet Early Learning Center is seeking a caring, dependable, and enthusiastic Pre-K Teacher to join their team in Tiverton, RI. This role involves helping 4- and 5-year-olds learn through hands-on experiences, creativity, exploration, and play. The center has provided children with a safe, nurturing place to learn, play, build confidence, and prepare for their next big step for over 40 years. They are looking for individuals who love working with preschoolers and are interested in building a career in early childhood education.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Experience working with children preferred
• CDA or Early Childhood Education coursework is a plus — but not required
• CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain certification
• Ability to meet required background screening requirements

Nice To Haves

• Experience working with children in a preschool, childcare center, after-school program, summer camp, recreation program, or similar setting
