About The Position
Join HAPPY Early Childhood Academic childcare center as a Lead Teacher. The centers provide early education and daycare for children from infancy through preschool, with a focus on joyful, engaging learning and opportunities for children to learn, play, and grow. The role involves planning and leading age-appropriate learning activities, maintaining a safe and organized classroom, tracking children’s development, communicating with families, and collaborating with other teachers.
Requirements
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- PDIS Level 2 or higher.
- At least 18 years of age.
- At least 2 years of experience as a lead teacher within a childcare center.
- Ability to meet state and local childcare licensing requirements.
Nice To Haves
- Associate degree or higher in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or a related field.
Responsibilities
- Create engaging, age-appropriate lesson plans and activities.
- Maintain clean, safe, and organized classrooms where children can explore and learn.
- Monitor children’s growth and development, understand key milestones, and celebrate their progress.
- Build relationships with families and share daily updates and cheerful moments through the mobile app.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers to create a supportive and happy learning environment.
