About The Position

Join The Learning Experience’s HAPPY Early Childhood Academic childcare center as a Lead Teacher. The centers serve children from infancy through preschool, making early education and daycare joyful, engaging, and fun so children can learn, play, and grow. The curriculum focuses on six ages and stages of early childhood development and uses hands-on learning activities that encourage children to explore and solve problems at their own rate of development. Teachers and staff provide nurturing care and support children’s preschool education journey.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• PDIS Level 2 or higher.
• At least 18 years of age.
• At least 2 years of experience as a lead teacher within a childcare center.
• Ability to meet state and local childcare licensing requirements.

Nice To Haves

• Associate degree or higher in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Execute engaging, age-appropriate lesson plans and activities to create fun learning experiences.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized classrooms in accordance with TLE standards.
• Monitor children’s growth and development, understand key milestones, and celebrate their progress.
• Build relationships with families and share daily updates and cheerful moments through the mobile app.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers to create a supportive and happy learning environment.
