About The Position

Sakonnet Early Learning Center is seeking a caring, dependable, and enthusiastic Pre-K Teacher to join their team in Tiverton, RI. This role involves helping 4- and 5-year-olds learn through hands-on experiences, creativity, exploration, and play. The center has been providing children with a safe, nurturing place to learn, play, build confidence, and prepare for their next big step for over 40 years. They welcome applicants with experience in early childhood education or similar settings like preschools, childcare centers, after-school programs, summer camps, or recreation programs.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Experience working with children preferred
• CDA or Early Childhood Education coursework is a plus — but not required
• CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain certification
• Ability to meet required background screening requirements
