About The Position

The State Pre-K substitute Teacher is responsible for instructing 4-year old's, based on needs of each child, and the requirements of the program. We want change makers who never stop being curious, inventive, and open-hearted to prepare children for Kindergarten and beyond. Applicant Must have substitute certificate for this position.

Requirements

• Substitute certificate for this position.
• Associates in Early Childhood Education, Child Development or related or an active CDA in Preschool.
• Experience in a licensed childcare center or related field.
• The ability to meet state requirements for education and our center requirements.

Responsibilities

• Follow all licensing guidelines, company standards and grant program requirements to ensure the daily care of every child in your classroom.
• Develop your ability to accurately observe, assess, and plan for children, as well as effectively communicate with families.
• Complete extensive training that provides insight on child care, preschool and development topics.
• Implement curriculum while creating fun, interactive learning experiences for the children.
• Able to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.
