Pre-k Childcare Staff – Before & After School
About The Position
Healthy Kids Programs is hiring Pre-K Childcare Staff for our Before and After School Program at Kendall Elementary School for the 2026–2027 school year. This role involves facilitating hands-on activities, providing a safe and fun environment, and supporting program operations. The position is part-time, following the school calendar, with morning hours from 7:00 AM to 8:30 AM and afternoon hours from 2:15 PM to 3:30 PM. This role is ideal for parents seeking a schedule aligned with the school day, education majors, or retirees looking to stay active and mentor children.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent, OR at least 1 year of experience working with children under the age of 13.
- Required health clearance, including TB screening, in accordance with state regulations.
- Must demonstrate a positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, professionalism, and reliability.
- Physically able to bend, stretch, lift, and carry up to 50 pounds while actively engaging with children throughout the day.

Responsibilities
- Facilitate hands-on activities following the Healthy Kids Curriculum which includes fitness, STEAM, academic, art, and other group activities as well as homework completion.
- Provide a safe, healthy, and fun environment and acting as a positive role model for children in the program.
- Observe state guidelines, Healthy Kids Extended Day Program policies, and host school policies.
- Support program operations, which may include attendance records, registration, and staffing responsibilities.
