About The Position

St. David’s seeks dynamic, talented, and dedicated individuals who, with considerable freedom to be innovative, inspire students to think critically, reason logically, and express themselves clearly. In addition, St. David’s values a variety of instruction, including inquiry-based learning, seminar-style discussions, and hands-on projects. Teachers should have the ability to work collaboratively with their peers and develop and deliver effective lessons that differentiate instruction for a diverse group of learners. In addition, St. David's School seeks faculty who profess Christ as Lord and who are equipped to integrate this faith into their teaching—scholars who demonstrate the joy of lifelong learning, men and women of integrity who possess a passion for children, coupled with the commitment and ability to inspire them. We admit that a school with such a focus is a unique culture, one to which some may not be called. Further, a member of the Fine Arts Department possesses the ability to regularly and intentionally share the value of a robust Fine Arts education with parents, students, and leadership. They regularly pray for the school, faculty, students, and the ministry of St. David’s School; particularly the work of the arts in reflecting the message of the Gospel. They seek unity in tone and philosophy rooted in mission, core values, and the Portrait of a St. David’s graduate.
