About The Position

This is a technical, entry-level role in the Art Department at C.C. Creations, focusing on the pre-press stage of production. The Pre-Flight Production Artist is responsible for ensuring that incoming art files are ready for production, preparing files for screen printing and embroidery, and troubleshooting any issues that arise with the artwork or the printing process. This role offers an opportunity to build foundational production knowledge and gain practical experience in screen printing and embroidery processes, color theory, and design software.

Requirements

• Strong attention to detail (pixel-level detail)
• Basic to intermediate knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
• Comfort working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven team environment
• Problem-solving mindset and willingness to think creatively when files don’t cooperate
• Ability to follow processes and double-check your work
• Eager to learn and comfortable working in technical systems

Nice To Haves

• Previous screenprint and/or digitizing experience

Responsibilities

• Review incoming art files for production readiness
• Prepare separations and production-ready files for screenprint
• Proof embroidery orders and prepare stitch-ready files
• Troubleshoot file issues (overprint settings, improper vector construction, minimum design requirements, etc.)
• Troubleshoot press issues (colors shifting on press, artwork not appearing as expected once printed)
• Communicate clearly with internal teams when artwork and/or orders need adjustment
