About The Position

The Pre-Press Operator will be responsible for creating film and screens for the Kammann screen printers. The work schedule for this position will be for our 2nd Shift: Monday - Thursday 6:00pm to 6:00am.

Requirements

• 1+ years experience as a machine operator or related position.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods of time, up to 8 hours per day.
• Ability to lift or carry up to 25 pounds repeatedly throughout the day.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Obtain the latest files from the Production Supervisor to make screen film using Adobe Illustrator.
• Use screen room equipment to image quality screens for the screen printers.
• Reclaim used screens. Stretch and prepare new screens for imaging.
• Keep the screen room clean and organized daily.
• Keep an inventory of screen room supplies and inks and order when necessary.
• Keep the required number of finished screens ready for the screen printer.
• Maintain equipment in the screen room. Notify the appropriate individuals if machine needs repair or maintenance.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Other duties as assigned.
