Under the clinical supervision of a licensed psychologist, the Psychology Intern evaluates patients for mental, emotional, or behavioral disorders. This role may involve conducting psychological testing, diagnosing disorders, and determining appropriate treatment plans using various modalities (excluding medication prescription). The intern will also serve as a behavioral health subject matter consultant to primary care and other behavioral health team members. The intern will formulate case conceptualizations, diagnostic impressions, and treatment recommendations, write comprehensive psychological reports, and document patient progress and treatment effectiveness. All essential functions and competencies are performed under the clinical supervision and guidance of a licensed psychologist.
