About The Position

The Pre Doctoral Fellow will conduct collaborative research that advances knowledge and develops innovative solutions. The fellow works under the supervision of the Principal Investigator and collaborates with a team of researchers. The role includes creating and maintaining a network model; using existing registry data to estimate parameters for a decision model; contributing to the model's development and application to related research questions; drafting manuscript Methods and Results sections as a co-author; assisting with grant applications; and maintaining study IRB files and communications, including overseeing data-related IRB amendments.

Requirements

Currently enrolled in an MD or PhD program.
Experience cannot be substituted for the required degree enrollment.

Responsibilities

Create and maintain a network model.
Use existing registry data to derive parameter estimates for incorporation into a decision model.
Work with investigators to develop the decision model and apply it to related research questions.
Draft Methods and Results sections for related manuscripts, with inclusion as a co-author.
Assist with grant applications, such as the approach section, related to the decision model.
Maintain IRB files and communicate with the IRB for the study.
Oversee all data-related amendments to the IRB.
Collaborate with the Principal Investigator and Co-Investigators in performing these duties.
