The Pre-Delivery Jr. Coordinator will assist the Pre-Delivery team in all aspects of the pre-delivery process, including orientations, lot porters, and pre-delivery technicians, with the goal of ensuring a "WOW" delivery experience for customers.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with all check-ins, reconditioning, and delivery of all inventory, while maintaining the Recon tracking log and Sales Tub report.
  • Inspect all new factory deliveries to complete the Stage 1 PDI process, noting any damage, cosmetics, missing items, or warranty repairs needed on the DAR.
  • Immediately notify the Pre-Delivery Manager of all major damage or repairs before accepting vehicles into inventory.
  • Stock in units into the DMS, adding bar code labels or window pricing if necessary.
  • Track and maintain a log of all work in process.
  • Contact and schedule all new sale customers within 24 hours of receiving Due Bills, reviewing and checking PDI, SFD, and repair lists for accuracy.
  • Track and update the Recon log or Tub report regarding sublet units.
  • Assist with moving units into the shop or delivery areas as necessary.
  • Greet and escort customers, assist with warranty registrations, and Due Bill maintenance and accuracy.
  • Assist with all policy and procedures, including proper coach identification, R.O., Tub, and tracking log maintenance.
  • Ensure all mileage has been verified and that TRP is on the unit prior to customer delivery.
  • Review the new Delivery Folder with the customer and explain helpful information provided.
  • Ensure all warranty registration paperwork is submitted immediately after orientation.
  • Ensure all money is collected for any customer pay work done during unit preparation.
  • Maintain a positive personality while dealing fairly and diligently with all departments and customers.
  • Escort the customer after orientation to F&I to complete remaining paperwork and, once completed, escort the customer to their new unit and release it.
  • Follow up with the customer before they leave the lot to ensure they received a "WOW" experience.
  • Perform other duties assigned by the Pre-Delivery Manager or Sales Management team.
